Volleyball Falls to Illinois Tech
Game Summary
The Bethel College volleyball team fell to 17—16 on the season with the four set loss to Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon by scores of 19—25, 16—25, 25—23, and 23—25.
Leaders for the Pilots on the day include: Emily Henry with 14 kills, 2 aces, and 3 blocks; Ashley Pagel with 29 assists, 2 aces, and 7 digs; and Candice Obregon with 8 kills and 6 digs.
It was a frustrating loss because we were right there at the end of game four, said Coach Reininga. I felt like we just got started too late today, we waited until game three to really start competing. We have one more game until tournament time and I really think this team has yet to peak.
The Pilots will conclude the regular season on Wednesday as they host Marian University for a match starting at 7:00 pm.
