BCA's Musical Theater courses empower performers to excel in their craft while integrating Kingdom values. Built on the "actor-first principle," this unique program focuses on training performers to be actors who are leaders, bringing innovation through Spirit-filled classes and performances. Ideal for those seeking to combine excellence in craft with faith.

Schedule

Students enrolled in the Creative Arts Certificate with Musical Theater elective courses will be in classes 4 days a week, generally between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.

Students enrolled in the Creative Arts Certificate with Musical Theater elective courses will be in classes 5 days a week, generally between 8:00AM and 4:00PM. Rehearsals and performances will take place outside of regularly scheduled class hours.

    What Musical Theater credentials can students earn at BCA?

        At BCA, acting students are able to apply and audition to add Musical Theater classes to their acting course load to achieve an additional credential in Musical Theater. Students accepted into the Creative Arts Certificate are able to audition for and take elective Musical Theater courses. Students in our Bachelor of Acting are able to earn an additional Concentration in Musical Theater.

    What are the costs associated with Musical Theater courses?

        Musical Theater courses have lab fees associated with them, which is an additional charge to the regular per-credit cost of the course(s). Please review tuition costs here.

    Do the credits from the Musical Theater courses or Concentration transfer to another college?

        Transferability of credits is always at the discretion of the college you are applying to. Generally, certificate-level credits do not transfer into BA programs due to a difference in curriculum and level of content.
